I own this as my first metal detector and it is amazing. In my first hunting on the beach I found a 100 years old coin in the first 10 minutes of searching. Very silent machine on the beach.
Pros
Easy to do initial setup and start hunting. The pre programmed modes (park, beach, field) are very good and enought to give you good results. Lightweight detector and amazing sensitivity and discrimination.
Cons
Not exactly something bad, but custom configurations may be difficult as there are so many options, so I recommend general users to use the default search modes or to ready the 50+ page manual.
